AIR • SOUND AND FOOD with Grace Denis
This workshop explores food systems and their relations through the notion of proximity. How to consume beyond tasting? How to consume through the activation all of our senses? Participants will first engage in a listening session to explore sensorial faculties beyond tasting and thus foster a bodily relationship with the consumption of food that lies beyond the mouth. The primary part of the workshop focuses on food preservation, using fermentation and pickling techniques as a means to transform agricultural products. This will be followed by a small-scale collectively constructed meal, with ingredients sourced from agroecology collective Praz Bonjour. Eventually, a discussion will consider proposing reciprocal alternatives to the origins of the word consumption.

AIR • VOICE AND BREATH with Léo Gaugué-Natorp
The workshop explores how to recharge and regain strength through breathing and voice practices, including exercises of pranayama, which in Sanskrit means “extension of the life force”. The voice is an extension of the breath and therefore represents a healing practice, not only because of the air that it generates, but also for the vibrations emitted from the person who produces it.

This workshop is part of a process that Maria Lucia Cruz Correia has been developing since the first school in 2016 to feel our instincts and take time for imagining new proposals for water governance, hydrocommons and community values for the future. (max 15 people).
13h - 14h water gathering: water activism as a form of water protection. WATER • WATER BODIES, WATER COURSES: ECOFEMINIST VISIONS OF WATER with Alexandra Slotte and Al Mammana
An ecofeminist workshop exploring our relationships with water in all its forms. Through guided meditations and instinctive movement, as well as text readings and talking circles, we will question our conditioning to perceive water as an inert resource and instead create an imaginary of interconnected relationships with water. Inspired by the works of Greta Gaard, Astrida Neimanis, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Starhawk, this workshop aims to see water as a subject at the heart of political issues.
